How PipeHalo credits pipeline to channels

PipeHalo credits each new business opportunity to the one channel that sourced it. There's no multi-touch split.

To find the source, PipeHalo looks at the earliest person on the deal with a marketing source, then uses the first evidence it finds in this order: first-visit UTMs, latest form-fill UTMs, the deal's UTMs, the CRM campaign, the contact's source, then the deal's source. If nobody on the deal has a source, it can use a colleague at the same company, marked via colleague. With no usable source, the deal is Unattributed.

To check or fix how your values map to channels, go to Settings → Channel mapping (admins can edit). Every deal is recredited when you save. If less than 60% of pipeline is credited to a channel, cost per opportunity and pipeline per dollar are held back so they don't flatter whichever channels happen to be tracked.
